Research Abstract	本重点領域研究は、免疫応答の制御機構と免疫寛容の分子機構を解明することにより、現代医学が解決を迫られている臓器・骨髄移植における拒絶反応やGvH病、自己免疫性難病やアレルギー性疾患、さらにはウィルス・細菌感染後の免疫学的炎症などの疾患の根元的制御法、治療法、さらには予防法確立への道を拓くことを目的としている。総括班は、1)免疫制御の分子機構、2)免疫制御の分子機構、3)免疫機構の分子機構の3つの計画班それぞれの研究評価を行い、3班が密な連携をもって研究を推進できるよう以下の活動を行った。 1)年3回のニューズレターの発行を行った。 2)合同シンポジウム、合同カンファレンスを各一回開催した。 3)総括班会議を2回開催し、計画研究班の研究進捗状況の討議および研究支援に関する討議を行った。
