Research Abstract |
Two kinds of conscious state were chosen ; "in a hurry" and "at one's ease". In each state, cooking or other living behaviors were done, while heart rate, blood pressure, motion, concerned tools and materials were measured or observed. Subjects were seven young and two aged women, and data of young subjects were compared with those of aged ones. As for heart rate and blood pressure, fluctuation was small in those living behaviors. In young subjects when make haste, motion speed increased or motion frequency decreased, but in aged subjects behavioral skill or another behavioral pattern was chosen. These characteristics were also seen in eating in a hurry behavior, but in newspaper reading, time shortening was done by the abbreviation of reading behavior.
