| Research Abstract |
光合成反応中心を模した光応答分子の高秩序化配列を目指し、以下のような成果が得られた。1)光応答分子として長鎖アルキル基の末端にチオール基、他端にポルフィリン環を持つ化合物を合成し、これを金表面上に自己集合化させて単分子膜を形成させることに成功した。単分子膜が形成されていることはXPS、蛍光スペクトルなどで確認した。得られた単分子膜のうち、発色団が亜鉛ポルフィリンのものは外界と電子の授受を行うことが判明した。酸化電位の高いフリーベースポルフィリンでは電極との間の電子授受は起こらなかった。2)光応答分子であるポルフィリンが生体膜中に埋め込まれた時の構造変化を調べるために脂質二分子膜中に3種のポルフィリンを埋め込んで、その挙動を調べた。その結果ポルフィリンの構造変化が起こるのは脂質膜の堅さとポルフィリンの分子構造に強く依存することが明らかとなった。
