Research Abstract |
In attempt to provide definite and safety method of the arthroscopic surgery for the hip joints in children, the bacic and experimental study was performed. Anatomy ofthe hip joint through the arthroscopic view was investigated and then the proper vidual points for hip arthroscopy were selected. The hip joint of monkey was useful tostudy as a model of children's hip. Monkey's hip only has labrum as same as human hip. Blood flow in the femoral head was measured by laser flowretry under traction and in position of lower extremity. Blood flow was not effected by the traction forcebut decreased in the internal-rotated position. Visual range by posterior approach was wider then byanterior approach. Linbus of the acetablum was observed totally by anterior approach. Experimental dislocation of the Monkey's hip was simulated as congenital dislocation of the hip joint, and triedto operate hip arthroscopic surgery. Hip arthroscopy has been applied for hip diseases in children. It will be possible to resolve the pathgenesis of congenital dislocation of hip joint, Perthes' disease and SCFE by arthroscopic findings of children's hip.
