| Research Abstract |
・宇賀辯才天の関係資料を収集し、解読を進めている。例えば、成田山仏教図書館で「辨財天講式」や「辨才天利益和談鈔」という資料を発見した。
・「辯天五部経」を一部英訳した。
・宇賀辯才天儀礼を現地調査した。12月3日〜10日の間に比叡山弁天堂に行われる辯才天浴酒と言う儀礼を調査し、一年一度しかないご本尊ご開帳を拝見した。12月31日〜1月1日の弁天堂のお正月儀礼も調査した。弁天堂の歴史や在家信者たちの講社、現代の辯才天信仰のことに関して輪番の僧から事情聴取した。
・宇賀辯才天像の写真やスライドから辯才天像のデジタル・フォトアーカイブスを作成を進めている。
・仏教学と美術史学関係のセミナーや学会に参加し意見交換した。
1)立命館大学に行われた密教学会(9月)、
2)大谷大学の鎌倉時代の南都仏教学会(10月)
3)ニューヨークに行われたCollege Art Association Annual Conference(2月)、
4)神戸大学美術史学会(2月)。
・執筆中の原稿を校正した:
