| Research Abstract |
免疫系が関与する多くの疾患(免疫病)の病態や発症の分子機構は不明なものが多く、根本的な治療法は存在しない。難治あるいは致死性の免疫病の分子機構を解明し、その予防や治療法確立への道を開発することは重要である。本研究は、免疫制御および免疫寛容獲得の分子機構の解明、免疫病や免疫不全症の分子機構の解明とその修復法の開発を目的とする重点研究を発足するにあたり、その準備のために各分野における国内外の研究動向について調査、検討することを目的とする。
(研究成果)(1)免疫応答に関与する個々の機能分子(抗原受容体、サイトカイン受容体、接着分子など)や細胞内情報伝達分子を解析するだけでなく、免疫機構全体に関し免疫応答レパートリーの形成のされかた、免疫応答の多様性と免疫寛容獲得の機構、選択されたリンパ球の増殖・分化シグナルの伝達機構、免疫病の病態解明とその修復法が開発できるように研究を計画するための各分野における国内外の研究動向についての調査、検討のため平成8年2月6日に「免疫病の分子機構とその修復」公開班会議を開催し、9名の研究者の最新の研究成果の報告と討論を行った。(2)総括班班会議を開催し、
・免疫異常に関わるレパートリー形成の分子機構
・免疫識別と応答の多様性の分子機構
・情報伝達とリンパ球の機能分化
・免疫病とその修復
を主要研究項目とすることを確認した。
