| Research Abstract |
(1)混合連続型HMMによる日本語音節のモデル化
高精度な音声認識を達成するための基礎として、音声の特徴パラメータ分布を直接的に表現できる混合連続型HMMを用いて日本語の音節に対する音響モデルの作成を行なった。
(2)効率的な双方向探索アルゴリズムの開発
双方向型探索では、前向き探索で得られる認識仮説と後向き探索で得られる認識仮説の2つを組み合わせることにより、入力音声全体に対する認識仮説を構成するが、この双方向型探索を効率的に行なうためのアルゴリズムとして、フレーム(時間)同期型の認識アルゴリズムであるOne-Pass法に基づいた方法を開発した。
(3)認識仮説の接続可能性判定アルゴリズムの開発
有限オートマトンや文脈自由文法のような言語的制約がある場合について、前向き探索で得られる認識仮説と後向き探索で得られる認識仮説が言語的な観点から接続可能であるか否かを判断するための、アルゴリズムの開発を行なった。
