Research Abstract

研究は順調に進渉し,ほぼ計画通りに遂行された.本年度は共同研究の基盤作りを重視し,国内・国外の研究者が共同して実験できる施設・装備・実験システムの作成を進めた.この後に霊長類を対象とした生理学的ならびに分子生物学的研究を有機的に結びつけた実験研究を,相互の緊密な連絡と共同実験を行うことによって進めた.その具体的項目は以下の如くである.
1.研究代表者が米国MITにおもむいて,研究計画の最終検討を行い,それに従って直ちに共同実験の遂行を開始した.
2.米国MITにおいて,霊長動物を使用し,大脳に関する生理学的実験を行えるように実験設備・装置を設置した.
3.MITのGraybiel教授グループはアカゲザルおよび日本ザルに有効に適用可能な免疫抗体の作成を開始し,c-fos,c-jun発現を細胞レベルで検索し,エンドルフィン・エンケコアリ-細胞の検出を可能とした.
4.NMDA型グルタミン酸リセプタータイプの分布を霊長類の大脳で調べるために,抗体を開発し,サブタイプε1,ε2,ε3,ζ1の抗体によって,それぞれの脳内分布の違いを調べることを開始した.
5.日本側研究者がMITに赴き,サルを使った慢性タイプの生理学的実験,すなわち行動と運動の課題遂行に伴う神経活動の変化を検出できるシステムを作成し,これを用いて作業課題の訓練を開始した.
6.MITグループはコカイン・アンフェタミン等の投与によって生ずる最初期遺伝子IEGの発現変化を大脳基底核および大脳皮質で調べた.
