| Research Abstract |
1. 本年度は、最終年度であり、従前より準備してきた話題を愈々整理する段階にあった。新たな可能性を開く研究は、新たな分担者によって遂行された。
2. 分担者小島定吉は、錘多様体と双曲幾何学に関連して7月に研究会を開くなど活発な活動を行い、特に、3次元の軌道体の幾何化について成果を得た。
3. 分担者岡睦雄は、超平面の配置空間について7月に研究集会を開くなどの活動を組織した。特に、位相幾何、組合せ論、超幾何関数、鏡映群等の領域にわたる話題において明快な知見を得た。
4. 分担者高木泉は、楕円放物型方程式の集中現象について研究集会を開くなど活発に活動し、特にこれら方程式の非線形性に起因する解の幾何学的特性を明らかにした。
5. 分担者山本昌宏は、偏微分方程式の逆問題を中心に1月に研究集会を組織し、関連する多くの知見を纏め上げた。
6. 代表者及び分担者野口潤次郎、三輪哲二は従前よりの研究を引き続き行うとともに上記三名や他の分担者の研究活動に必要な支援を行った。
