| Research Abstract |
前年度に引続き代表者は2次式の指数関数の線形結合に現れる奇妙な現象、およびそれと無限次元Lie群論との間のつながりについてアメリカ、ポーランド、ニュージーランド等で講演した。
これらの現象は、これまでの描像で解釈しようとすると理解に苦しむことが多く、注意深く理論を建設しないといけない所のように思える。つまり、結合律を保持して代数を拡張しようとするかぎり、「我々はある種の対称性を捨てて行かねばならない」のである。
そこで、これらの間の積公式を間違いのない完全なものに仕上げることを第一の目標とした。
これらの計算結果はそのままでは意味が不明のものだから論文として発表するにはまだ時間のかかるものであるが、計算結果の散逸を防ぐ意味でとりあえず報告書の方に収録しておくことにした。
