Research Abstract |
The AIM of this research is the development of analysis method of immune surveillance system in various animals by using adenovirus vector to characterize cell mediated immunity surveillance system. The various results were obtained, as followings, (1) We established the recombinant adenovirus vector encoding canine distemper virus (CDV) hemagglutinin (H) gene. We also established the method to get primary dog skin cells for the target of cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) assay. It makes us possible to get the targeted cells from self-animals. (2) We identified epitopes for cell-mediated immunity and humoral immunity in N protein of rinderpest virus. By utilizing immune-stimulating complex (ISCOM), recombinant H protein was revealed to be effective in cell mediated immunity. (3) We identified the resistant Major Histocompatibility Complex (BoLA) class II molecules to the bovine leukemia ; BoLA-DR3 allele. The recombinant adenovirus encoding BLV genome
