Research Abstract |
We started the international research project in 1998 with Philippe Walter (Grenoble), Claude Lecouteux (Sorbonne), Arlette Bouloumie (Angers), Bertrand Hell (Besancon) and Gwenhael Ponnau (Fontenay). This project was transformed into a Basic Project (B) at 1999, after that the system changed. We organized four international symposiums and we carried on our research in France with our French partners. The first time, the colloquium was named The Wild Hunter in West and East. We discussed the ancient tradition of Wild Hunter. Most of this colloquium was published in the magazine IRIS.of Grenoble. The second time, we discussed the myth of God Mother with Regis Boyer, Philippe Borgeaud, and Bernard Sergent. We detected the feature of Death in the myth of the God Mother. The third time was on Merlin, the old magician. We studied the figure of magician in the Arthurian Legend and some obscure deities in Japan as Sarutahiko or En no Gyoja. During the last one in 2000, we compared the figure of Divine Infant in Orient and Japan. Many discussions were focused on Sukunahikona, Niniginomikoto or Okuninushi. Beside these four colloquiums, we organized two forums in Tokyo and Nagoya. We also participated as communicant to five symposiums in France.
