| Research Abstract |
本研究班は最終年であることを勘案して、我が国の脳研究の人材育成と実験動物の整備と若手研究者を中心とした共同研究等の推進を実施した。
(1)公募研究採択者60名の研究成果報告会を行い、研究評価を行った。10名の優れた研究成果に対して追加の研究費を提供した。
(2)九州地区脳研究ワークショップを2002年11月29日〜30日に行い、研究支援をした。北陸地区脳研究ワークショップを2003年1月25日に行い、研究支援をした。
(3)ヒトの脳病理標本のデータベース化と標本整理を新潟大学脳研究所での実施を支援した。
(4)大型実験動物のサル、ネコについて各研究者のヒアリングにもとづいて支援した。また、マウスについても実験動物として支援した。
(5)岡崎国立共同研究機構・生理学研究所にて若手トレーニングコースの実施の支援を行った。
(6)岡崎国立共同研究機構において脳科学国際ワークショップを行った。
(7)脳研究者(国内外)のデータベース化を行った。
北米ニューロサイエンス学会の現状調査を行った。
