Research Abstract

本研究では領域分割法による計算力学の新解法で、特に数学的に検証された解法の開発を目指しているが,現在は新解法の開発とその数学的検証のための準備とアルゴリズムの試行中である。
研究班全体として次のような研究計画を実行した。
1. アルゴリズム開発とPVMによる試行のために高性能パソコンを早稲田大学と日本大学に導入した。
2. 各分担者がそれぞれの役割に応じたアルゴリズムの準備・開発を行った。その成果の一部を平成11年7月に英国で開催予定のICIAM99で中村,池田勉をオーガナイザーとしたミニシンポジウム[Computation Mechanics and Domain Decomposition Methods]で発表予定である。
3. DDM研究会を開き,開発中の新解法の検討を継続的に行なった。
特に、日本大学の八海山セミナーハウスで領域分割法の研究集会を研究分担者を中心にして開き,それまでの成果検討・研究打合せをした。
また京都大学数理解析研究所共同研究集会「計算力学の新解法と領域分割法」を中村正彰が研究代表者として開催し,開発中の新解法の検討をするとともに、国外の講師4人を含む16講演を元に,最新の成果の発表,検討・情報収集をした。
4. 非線形問題の応用解析・数値近似関係の資料収集を行った。
