| Research Abstract |
ポルフィリン分子は、ほとんど全ての金属と配位錯体を形成し、かつ拡張されたパイ電子系を有する有機多座配位子である。従って、小さな分子内HOMO-LUMOギャップを有し、かつ有機分子に金属の性質が導入されている。最近では、有機-無機ハイブリッド機能性物質に於ける、最も重要な分子の一つとして大きな注目が集められており、金属的電気伝導性やフェリ磁石の挙動を示す物質の報告がある。ところで、複数個の分子を互いに近接させると、各分子のフロンティア軌道が摂動し、単分子には見られなかったような新しい性質が発現することが知られている。そこで、本研究では、多数のポルフィリン分子を共有結合を用いて集積化させ、機能性分子としての評価を行った。
