生命倫理に関する討論と生命倫理教育における生物学者の役割

Research Abstract	1)日本生命倫理教育ネットワークのメンバー及び数十か国の学術関係者に生命倫理と生命倫理教育に関してインタビューを行った。海外の研究者の論文をEubios Journal of Asian and International Bioethicsに掲載し、討論を行った。 2)1999年の11月20〜23日に第五回つくば国際生命倫理円卓会議を開催した。海外から研究者40人、国内から60人が参加し、生命倫理と生物学者の役割について討論を行った。 3)日本全国の科学者を対象に、バイオテクノロジーと生命倫理に関する自由回答形式のアンケートを郵送で行い、370の回答を得た(回答率24%)。(11月〜12月1999年) 4)日本全国の一般の人々を対象にバイオテクノロジーと生命倫理に関する由回答形式のアンケートを行い300の回答を得た。 5)現在、調査結果の集計、分析、及びその国際比較を行っている。 6)高校生命倫理教育ネットワークの定期会合を引き続き行い、生命倫理教育に関する教師間の討論に加え、医学者などをゲストスピーカーとして招き、遺伝子治療や遺伝子スクリーニングについてセミナーを行った。
