Research Abstract |
The supervision is indispensable to the training of the psychotherapists which the trainee (supervisee) reports how his psychotherapies develop to his trainer (supervisor) and discuses. The practices on clinical psychology need not only knowledge but competences which mean improving skills and building character, so the supervisee improve his competence directly through his supervisor who is the experienced psychotherapist. But there are not enough studies on the supervision because of the nature of it, for example, the duty of confidentiality. The main method of this study is the Supervision's Case Study. We can pursue both the essence of the case and the universality of humans by this method. And we investigated the supervisee's views. We considered the subjects, 1.supervision's case study, 2.aims of supervision, 3.supervisee's individuality 4.supervision and training analysis, 5.intake interview and assessment, 6.forms of supervisions. This study has brought the difficulties of the supervision. It performs various roles as the educational aspect or the supportive one, so its complication cause the difficulties. But it is important that supervisor, supervisee use their own knowledge and competence and interact freely based on the relation as a person-to-person. And it's an worth task how put his thoughts and conscious and unconscious feelings into words as a specialist. These are the essences of the psychotherapy, too.
