Research Abstract |
Fishing was prosperous in Boso district surrounded by the sea, and the fishing which the ground net fishing of the sardine in the Kujyukuri district and the laver culture in Tokyo bay were especially characteristic of after the Edo Period had been developed since the old days. A connection with Sanriku coastal area of the Tohoku district is about to be recognized except for it though a close connection with Kansai district which moved the Kii Peninsula to the center in the Edo Period has been pointed out as for the fishing of Boso district done like this, too This research aims at catching the actual condition of the interchange specially between the areas of both areas done like this from the fisherman's wide area movement and the viewpoint of faith in a fisherman.
