Research Abstract |
The project focused on immune network based on biological immune response network, and modeled it based on the analogy with the interaction between B cells and T cells in immune system. The model has a property that resembles the first immune response and the secondary immune response quite well. The immunity of the network was simulated and made several experimentally testable predictions. Furthermore, a clonal selection-based immune network has also been investigated and a pattern recognition system using the clonal selection-based immune network was proposed. Simulations results were given to such pattern recognition applications as letter recognition, classifications. The simulation results show that, beside the advantages of less categories, improved memory pattern and good memory capacity, the pattern recognition system using the clonal selection-based immune network has the powerful self organization capability.
