Research Abstract	本年度得られた研究結果を以下に示す。[個別研究]長谷川:歯周病健診による歯周炎ハイリスク者のスクリーニングはその後のリスク状況の改善に有効である。北村:歯肉の炎症所見は中学の3年間では増悪傾向、高校の3年間では改善傾向を示す。P.g.は若年者における歯周病の悪化と関連する。栗原:ガム刺激時唾液を用いた細菌検査結果から中学・高等学校の生徒における各歯周病原性細菌の検出頻度と幼児、小児および成人のそれとの繋がりを知ることができる。申:A.a.は若年層における歯周炎やEOPと関連する。高柴:血清IgG抗体価の測定は早期発症型歯周炎患者のスクリーニングや歯周病の治療の効果をモニタリングする上で有効である。内藤:重度口唇閉題不全を認める学童では歯周病の予防的介入が必要である。古市:高校生ではPPD>3mm,CAL>1mmの部位を複数有する生徒が7〜12%存在する。我孫子:40-kDa OMP共凝集因子の機能ドメインIVTVPENGKとリコンビナント200-kDa抗原タンパクはコンポーネントワクチンによる免疫療法の開発に、40-kDa-OMP/CT経鼻免疫は能動免疫療法の開発に、130-kDa赤血球凝集因子に対するヒト型モノクローナル抗体は受動免疫療法の開発に役立つ。大島:BOPが20%以上または1ヶ所でも6mm以上のPPDを有する者を有病者とした場合、新規唾液潜血試験紙は従来の酵素法と比較して特異度を56%,陽性反応的中率を28%向上させた。西原:A.a.感染マクロファージのG1期における細胞周期停止にはp53の活性化と、CDKインヒビターであるp21^<CIP1/WAF1>の誘導や、Rbタンパクの不活性化、Cyclin Dの減少が関与している。米田:徹底的なPTCIの繰り返しは10代の生徒における歯周病の予防に有効である。吉江:FcγRIIb 2321/TとIL-1 raのtandem repeat(VNTR)の多型は早期発症型歯周炎と有為に関連するが、CD14 promoterおよびIL-1α,βの遺伝子型分布には有為な偏りがない。[共同研究]小学校、中学校、高等学校の生徒においてCPITNコードを用いて歯周病健診を行い、この年齢層における歯周病罹患状況のデータベースを作成した。
