Research Abstract |
Musical performance, its action and surrounding circumstances can be recorded by video-gram or motion capture system, directly and non-descriptively and be analyzed from performers and space-designer's point of view. Orchestra music, solfage, percussion instruments in western music, and No theater in Kanze style in Japanese music is analyzed by such method and education programs are build and tested. The results are edited into information contents and portal sites are constructed. In the first year, from architectural point of view, student orchestra's performance is recorded and analyzed by multi-angular video-gram system. In the second year, the performing space : university auditorium had acoustic improvement and a plan is build with the output of first year, and second performance recording by professional orchestra had held after the improvement. From the outcome of first year's speculations, the importance of student's attention, gazing points, posture, hand movements and breath

es are verified. In relation to these factors, the method of "Rapid reading" for ordinary text is introduced and re-build with the knowledge of solfage. With this process, basic "solfage method for players body reflection" is prepared. In the third year, with the background of these outcomes, education program available for non-professional players is build and tested. The whole rehearsal process is archived and analyzed. Also a system of "Marker-less motion-capture System" is introduced and through-out archiving of whole the real performances are undergone. Those facts that miss-uses of body by performers themselves eliminate the quality of the performance and cause physical disorder are clarified, and the importance of preventive medical care is emphasized. Necessity and importance for possible social education system for the users of general instruments, to use them with rational physical motion, and not to do harm for their own body through everyday custom, at the succeeding researches, are concluded.
