| Research Abstract |
曲面の写像類群の構造と,リーマン面のモジュライ空間の幾何学について,引き続き位相幾何学の観点からの研究を行った.本年度に得られた結果を具体的に記すと,つぎのようになる.
1.研究代表者は,7月にM＼unchen大学で開催された,「Asymtotic Topology, Foliations and Dyhamical Systems]と題する国際研究集会に参加し,これまでの成果を発表すると共に,多くの研究者と研究討論を行った.
2.研究代表者は,D.Kotschick氏と共同で,任意の種数$g＼geq 3$に対して,曲面上の種数$g$の葉層曲面バンドルで,全ホロノミー群が曲面の面積保存微分同相群に入り,かつ符号数が消えないものが豊富に存在することを証明した.これは,写像類群の幾何学とシンプレクティック幾何学との結びつきを示唆するもので,新しい研究の方向が得られた.
3.分担者の古田は,研究協力者とともにSeiberg-Witten理論のホモトピー版を用いた3次元および4次元多様体の研究を引き続いて進め,いくつかの新しい結果を得た.
4.分担者の河澄は,超楕円写像類群上のMumford-Morita類と,Weierstrass点との間の興味深い関連を発見した.
5.分担者の廣瀬は,把手体の写像類群に関する研究を,4次元多様体の中に埋め込まれた曲面の幾何学に応用した.
