| Research Abstract |
研究代表者・納谷信は、研究分担者・鎌田博行と共同で四元数CR幾何の研究を行った。昨年度、標準接続の表現論的意味を明らかにしたことを踏まえて、今年度は標準接続の曲率の分解と共形不変部分の特定に向けて計算を行った。さらに、H^n内の凸領域の四元数多様体としての同値性を判定する問題への応用について考察を行った。
納谷信は、インカン・キム(ソウル国立大学)と共同で、4次元閉双曲多様体の基本群(Sp(1,1)のココンパクト格子)のSp(n,1)(n【greater than or equal】2)への表現の剛性について共同研究を行った。この研究は、リーマン面の基本群のSU(n,1)への表現に対する剛性定理(Toledoによる)の四元数的類似を目指すものであり、調和写像を用いるアプローチについて検討を行った。
小林亮一は、一般型代数多様体から半単純複素Lie群の離散群による商空間への有理型写像のについて研究し、そのような写像の像はコンパクト複素トーラスに含まれることを示した。
小谷元子は、結晶格子上のランダム・ウォークに対する大偏差原理について研究し、リスケールされた結晶格子のハウスドルフ極限として得られる距離空間の幾何に関する解釈を与えた。
糸健太郎は、3次元閉双曲多様体の基本群(PSL(2,C)のココンパクト格子)の、SO(4,1)への離散的な表現への変形可能性について考察した。とくに、この出題との関連で、一つの双曲的元によって生成されるSO(4,1)の初等的部分群が、階数3の放物的的部分群に幾何学的に収束し得ないことを明らかにした。
