Research Abstract

次の現象を主に扱った。
1)光感受性BZ反応における閾値下興奮現象に現れる新しい界面パターンの実験解析。
2)反応拡散系に現れる界面方程式を導出する特異極限法の開発。
3)高分子溶液中のヴィスコスフィンガリングの実験によるパターンの形態変化の実験解析。
4)流体の浸透領域のパターン変化を再現する数値解析法の確立。
5)電気流体の一つであるインクジェットに現れる移動境界を追跡する特性有限要素法の確立。
6)完全流体での渦の相互干渉によって引き起こされる界面ダイナミクスに対する数値解析法の確立。
7)1)〜6)の数値計算に必要な領域分割法等を用いた無限精度数値シミュレーション法の効率化。
8)界面ダイナミクスを記述する偏微分方程式の数学解析に有効な粘性解理論と等高面法の確立。
得られた結果は次の通りである。
1)では,光刺激を与えたとき静的閾値よりも小さな刺激で興奮が起こる共鳴興奮現象を確認した。
2)では,界面を記述する極限方程式を特異極限法から導き、古典Stefan問題と一致することが得られた。
3)では,パターンの成長速度は、シリカ濃度が高くなると修正ダルシー則からずれることが分った。
4)では,蒸発過程では浸透領域(サポート)の分離現象と非分離現象を再現するための十分条件が得られた。
5)では,ウェーバー数の変化にともなうインクジェット生成の変化を再現することが可能になった。
6)では,渦糸が緩和振動をおこすことを数学的に証明するための数値解析法を構築した。
7)では,2次元以上の大規模無限精度シミュレーションを可能にするための大規模並列計算法を確立した。
8)では,ベルグ効果によって複雑になっていく結晶形状に対する粘性解理論と等高面法を確立し,うずまき解の存在と安定性の厳密な証明を与えた。
