Research Abstract	H^∞のイデアル構造とその上の作用素の研究が目的であった。代表者は次ぎの結果を得た。1.)H^∞の極大イデアルの共通部分で表せるイデアルの十分条件を与えた。また1つの外部関数で生成される閉イデアルがそのようになるときの必要十分条件を与えた。2)細川君とチョン氏との共同研究でH^∞の合成作用素の空間の本質ノルムによる連結成分を決定した。3)互いに特異な測度に対して、その特異性がH^∞の極大イデアル空間に表現できることを示した。また互いに特異な測度の特異性、および測度の絶対連続性が極大イデアル空間に表現できることを示しH^∞+Cでの割算問題に応用した。4)極大イデアル空間の可算集合は際だった性質をもつ。それを通して表現測度の台が極大となるための十分条件を与えた。5)H^∞の極大イデアル空間における極小のk-hullはQC-集合のK-hullであることを示した。ゴルキンとモルチイーニの問題の解決である研究分担者の古谷氏は長氏などとlog-hyponormal作用素を中心に研究をし、Mozaicを定義し,Helton-Howe型のトレース公式を得た。またw-hyponrmal作用素のkemelに関するAluthge-Wangの問題の解答を与えた。羽鳥氏はBanach環Aが有限次元になるための条件をA値多項式のことばにより与えた。また可換Banach環上の環準同形写像の表現定理を与え、環準同形写像が線形写像となるための十分条件を与えた。真次氏はn次元複素ユークリッド空間の単位球上の荷重バーグマン・プリバロフ空間に対して、S.Yamashita-M.Stoll-C.Ouyang-W.Yang-A.Zhao型の特徴付け及び等距離写像の決定を行った。また荷重バーグマン・オーリッツ空間に関しては、F.Beatrous-J.Burbea型の特徴付けを行った。
