Research Abstract	遍歴的な電荷が相転移を起こして局在化し、局在化した電荷が規則正しく整列する(電荷整列)現象が一群の分子導体で発見され、新たな電子状態として注目されている。この現象は伝導電子の波動関数が遍歴的な性格と局在的な性格をもつ分子導体に普遍的に存在する現象であるとの視点から系統的な研究を進めている。この研究では局在化に伴って発生する電荷分布の濃淡(不均化)を電荷に敏感な分子振動モードをプローブとして追跡している。本年度は4つの成果を挙げる事ができた。(1)電荷の不均化に伴って分裂する分子振動モードは振電相互作用の影響も受ける。この分裂したモードを解析することにより整列した電荷の対称性やバンド幅についての情報を得る事ができることを理論模型を用いて明らかにした。(2)θ-型のBEDT-TTF塩の相図を作成するためにバンド幅の狭い塩から広い塩まで系統的な研究を行っている。もっとも狭いバンド幅をもつθ-(BEDT-TTF)_2Cu(CN)[N(CN)_2]_2の相転移が横縞の電荷整列を伴うことを証明した。さらに高温相は短距離的な秩序をもつ電荷整列状態が揺らいでいる状態であることを明らかにした。(3)斜方晶系と単斜晶系のθ-(BEDT-TTF)_2TlZn(SCN)_4の相転移について研究し、特に、後者の結晶では斜め方向に電荷が縞状に整列していることをX線回折の実験を併用して明らかにした。(4)従来良く分かっていなかったβ"型のBEDT-TTF塩の絶縁相を明らかにするためにβ"-(BEDT-TTF)_3(ReO_4)_2の相転移を調べた。そして絶縁相では3量体の両端に電荷が局在した構造をとっていることを明らかにした。θ-型のBEDT-TTF塩とは異なる整列様式である。
