Research Abstract |
First, we developed a cognitive simulator that works as a central module of a virtual psychology lab. The simulator simulates process of solving the Wason's 2-4-6 task that has been widely used in the psychology of human scientific discovery. We empirically verified psychological utility of the simulator. Then we applied the virtual psychology lab. Into a practical university class. We designed the class, combining real psychology experiments and virtual experiments in the virtual lab. We obtained good results from the practice.
