我々はすでに下記の研究成果において、無限複素帯行列の固有値問題において詳しく研究を行い、きわめて自然な切断法による近似計算可能性の証明と、精密な評価式を得ている。

本年度は前年度の継続として、スフェロイド波動方程式w"-tanθ・w'+(λ-μ^2sec^2θ+γcos^2θ)w=0にπまたは2π周期解を持たせるような固有値λを定める固有値問題の数値解法を、上記成果の応用という立場から行列算法として定式化、誤差評価、可視化を行った。また、ラーメ方程式w"(z)-(a+bk^2sn^2z)w(z)=0は我々がこれまでに固有値計算問題として成果をあげてきたマシュー微分方程式との類似点から、両者を比較しながら、2πまたは4π周期を持つ、周期Lame関数の固有値問題を、やはり上記成果の応用という立場から行列算法として定式化、誤差評価、可視化を行った。さらにほとんど文献の見つからなかった楕円体波動方程式の固有値問題についても調査、研究を行なった。
