| Research Abstract |
本研究の目的は、Emden-Fowler型の非線形項をもつ高階常微分方程式に対して、解の零点の個数・分布を調べることである。また、常微分方程式についての結果を念頭において、高階楕円型偏微分方程式の解の振動的性質を詳しく調べることである。
この研究によって得られた新しい結果、新しい知見は主として次の様なものである。
1. 線形および劣線形高階常微分方程式に対して、半無限区間[a, +∞)における特異固有値問題を考察し、可算固有値列の存在と、対応して、丁度n個の零点をもつ固有関数列の存在を示した。
2. 劣線形高階常微分方程式に対して、正則固有値問題を考察し、可算固有値列の存在と、対応して、丁度n個の零点をもつ固有関数列の存在を示した。
3. half-linear非線形2階常微分方程式の非振動解で、無限遠点である特別な漸近行動をするものの零点の個数は、パラメータとともに、丁度1個づつ変化していくことを明らかにした。
4. 4階Emden-Fowler型準線形常微分方程式に対して、非振動解の無限遠点での漸近挙動を詳しく論じ、ある特別な漸近挙動をする非振動解が存在するための必要十分条件を樹立した。
5. 2次元の半線形ラプラス型方程式系に対して、ある種のLiouville型定理を証明した。
6. 重調和作用素を含む4階非線形楕円型方程式に対しても、解の存在と非存在について、2階方程式と類似に、内部問題/外部問題/全領域問題の相補性が成り立つことを明らかにした。
