Research Abstract

現在J.P.Antoine(ルーバン大)、C.Trapani(パレルモ大)と執筆中である専門書「Partial *-Algebras and their Operator Realizations」のPartI Theory of Partial O^*-Algebras(1. Partial O^*-algebras 2. Commutative partial O^*-algebras 3. Topologies on Partial O^*-algebras 4. Tomita-Takesaki theory in partial ^*-algebras)を井上は8月、Antoine、Trapaniは9月、3月にお互いを訪問し、討論を重ねほぼ完成させた。さらに、Part II「Theory of partial ^*-Alebras」の執筆をすすめている。これをすすめるために(部分)*-代数の*-表現を詳細に調べている。J.B.Bhatt、井上、荻は(局所凸)*-代数上の非有界C^*-セミノルムから非有界*-表現を構成し、そのような表現からうまくふるまう表現(well-behaved *-表現と呼ぶ)を定義し、その性質を調べている。一方、最近、K. Schmudgenは別の方法で*-代数のwell-behaved *-表現を定義し研究している。Bhatt、井上、K.Kustenは2つのwell-behaved性の概念が密接な関係を持つことを示し、非有界C^*-セミノルムから構成されるwell-behaved *-表現のさらなる研究をすすめている。また、井上、池田、W.Karwowski、高倉は(部分)*-代数上のウエイト、ウエイトから構成される*-表現の研究、黒瀬、長町、荻はこれらの量子物理への応用を考えている。
