Research Abstract |
We have reported NAND logic fluorophore recognized alkaline earth metal, salts in 1998. This research was a construction of new type multi input logical recognition system having optical output. The target guest molecule were alkaline earth metal and transition metal guests. Synthesized a novel nitrogen containing hetero-aromatic host, pyridopimdazoquionxaline(PIQ) and pyridoimidazopyiradino-phenanthroline (PIPPh) ring. These hosts were complexization with transition metal cations, in the case of PIPPh, some complex species was existed. Multi guest recognition host having 12crown4 ether side arm PIQ (PIQ-crown) was newly synthesized. PIQ-crown was made a NAND logical fluorescence quenching output by the Ca(SCN)_2 and Ba(SCN)_2, this behavior was similarly we reported PIP-crown derivatives, moreover, made an OR logic by transition metal cation. Multi guest recognition with transition metal cation and alkaline earth metal thiocyanate gave very interesting results. Gave many logical calculated output signals by combinations of adding guest. For example, The addition of Zn(C10_4)_2 and alkaline earth metal thiocyanate were combined with OR, NAND, AND operations, Zn(SCN)_2 and alkaline earth metal thiocyanate were combined with QR, AND, NAND operations. In conclusion, new type multi logical recognition host PIQ-crown was synthesized. This host gives many interesting logical output by the addition of multi guest inputs.
