犬におけるワクチン接種後の副反応としてのアナフィラキシーの原因解析

Research Abstract

日本における犬のワクチン副反応の現状を解析するために、農林水産省の家畜週報において1994年4月から2000年3月までの6年間に犬のワクチン副反応として報告された311症例を症状別に分類した。狂犬病ワクチンで副反応を起こした27症例では消化器症状が最も多く(26%)、次いでアレルギー性呼吸・循環器症状(22%)、アレルギー性皮膚症状(11%)であった。
狂犬病ワクチン以外の単価、混合ワクチンで副反応を起こした284症例では、アレルギー性皮膚症状が最も多く(53%)、次いで消化器症状(16%)、アレルギー性呼吸、循環器症状(14%)であった。そしてこの6年間に副反応を起こした311症例中、11症例(3.5%)においてワクチン副反応としてのアナフィラキシーによる死亡が認められた。
イヌにおける正確なワクチン接種数が不明のため、各副反応ごとの発生率を求めることはできなかったが、イヌにおいてワクチン接種後のアレルギー性の副反応が、多いことが明らかになった。また、アナフィラキシーによる死亡例も11例も認められ、獣医臨床上、ワクチン接種後の副反応は重要な問題であることも明らかになった。今後、ワクチン接種後の副反応の原因の解析および予防についての研究を行い、可能な限り、このようなワクチン接種後の副反応を減らしていく必要があると考えられた。
