Research Abstract |
This research describes a basic model and method to evaluate the comparative advantage for a management system on a global market on the basis of the "competere" concept to design a management system for creating new value as a business output. The model and method were applied to evaluate the Japanese industry and clarify its weaknesses and strengths. Our results indicated that the Japanese industry should retain the advantage of the production process as a business process as well as employee and physical values and should also develop new values, including both spiritual values and values outside of the company. In order to learn from the leading companies in the world, they should strengthen the edges of leadership, management resources, and innovative process. Further studies are necessary to clarify the following problems of individual companies to find the national solution mentioned above. 1. To develop a new approach to improve the comparative advantage of business aspects and organizational aspects of that of leadership through analyzing best practices by the model developed. 2. To clarify the missions of people in the ABC fields as well as government officials, and to promote networking them on the basis of "competere" concept.
