Research Abstract |
今年度は、機能性官能基および結合性官能基の両者を表面に固定した金の超微粒子を合成し、超微粒子の配列や超微粒子同士の間の距離を制御しつつ積層化し、分子スーパーキャパシタの構築を目指した。 (1)機能性分子修飾金超微粒子の設計・合成 結合性官能基として-COOH基や-NH3基を末端に持つアルキルチオール分子と機能性官能基として電気化学活性なフェロセン基を持つアルキルチオール分子をそれぞれ合成した。両アルキルチオール分子の混合自己組織化単分子層(Self Assembled Monolayer,SAM)で表面を修飾した直径1.8nm〜2.4nmの金超微粒子を合成した。 (2)自己組織化的積層膜の構築 末端に結合性官能基(-COOH基または-NH3基)をもつアルキルチオールSAM修飾金基板を作製し、修飾する金超微粒子、および金属イオンあるいはイオン性高分子の入った溶液中にその基板を一定温度で一定時間、交互に浸すことによって積層化した。 (3)機能および構造評価 上記のようにして調製した積層膜の電気化学特性を電気化学測定および電気化学水晶振動子マイクロバランス法によって評価するとともに、積層膜の構造をエリプソメトリー、XPS、高感度赤外反射分光法によって評価し、分子スーパーキャパシタ構築の指針を得た。
