Research Abstract

従来の教授学習システムでは予め用意したいくつか「教授戦略」や「提示パターン」しか出さないので、「面白さ」がない、学習者の興味が段々薄くなる、という問題がある。従って、数理科学を対象とした教授学習システムについては、学習者特に若い学習者の興味をあまり引き出せず、ITを活用する教授学習システムの開発において多くの問題を解決しなければならない。
我々は、自然言語処理技術を生かし、「面白さ」があり、学習者の状況によって動的変化できる場面を提示する理科教授学習システムの構築方法を研究し、この方法を用いて初等力学を例とする理科教授学習システムのプロトタイプシステム「超夫子」を構築した。
「超夫子」のゴールの一つは学習者の数理科学に対する興味を引き出す、ということである。そのため、システムにおいて「音声認識モジュール」、「自然言語解析モジュール」と「興味激発モジュール」が組み込まれている。現在、「音声認識」と「音声合成」がまだ組み込まれていなかったが、技術を開発した。例えば、学習者が長い間に反応がなければ、「興味激発モジュール」で自然言語の「ユーモア」を生かし、音声合成技術を用い、催促する音を出したり、場合によって、ミュージックが出たり、アニメーションやゲーム画面を出す。
我々の中学での調査からこの点が極めて有効であることが分かった。これを実現する時、自然言語解析と理解が必要である。完全な自然言語理解が短期間では実現できないが、我々の提案したスーパー関数手法を生かし、分野限定で、自然言語解析ができる。
「超夫子」は現在構築中であるが、研究成果として、力学問題のコーパスの構築方法を開発したこと、スーパー関数の一部を作成したこと、試行錯誤を支援する学習環境を開発したこと、音声認識と合成手法を研究したこと、「超夫子」プロトタイプシステムを構築したこと、などがあげられる。
