Research Abstract

今年度は本研究計画の初年度にあたり、研究課題を遂行するための予備的調査・研究を行い、実際にデータ収集に着手し、以下に示すような予備的研究結果を得た:ヒトとチンパンジー幼児の二足歩行能獲得過程を運動力学的に比較検討し、胴の前傾・低い外部エネルギー効率等の共通特徴と、長い立脚期等のヒト固有特徴を見出した。垂直木登りに関する運動学的比較により上下肢機能分化に著しい種間差を見出した。類人猿・化石人類の大腿骨をCTにより構造力学的比較を行い、ボノボのヒトへの類似性を見出した。チンパンジー腰・大腿部MRI連続画像データより3次元筋骨格系モデル構築をすすめた。体肢骨形態発達研究では、骨体部に比して関節部のより早い発達を認めた。来年度以降は、運動パターンや体サイズの異なる種のロコモーションへと対象を拡げる。
ヒトにおける加齢による運動機能低下に筋と神経系がどれだけ関与するかに関して、障害物回避実験ではステップ調節能でなく回避動作自体に加齢変化が、階段下降実験では下腿三頭筋の筋力低下の関与が、それぞれ認められた。ヒト高齢者歩行動作の上記二つと姿勢(円背等)要因を評価するため、歩行シミュレーションによる定性的分析方法を開発した。ヒト以外の霊長類ではロコモーションにおける加齢の実態が明らかでない。そこでニホンザルの予備的研究から、運動タイプ別の生起頻度の加齢変化が著しいこと、脊柱の屈伸を伴うギャロップ(走行)が加齢研究に有用であることを、それぞれ見出した。
