| Research Abstract |
In this research we gathered and analyzed data concerning government policy concerning Indigenous media, representation of Indigenous peoples in museums and art galleries, Indigenous films, intra- and inter-community communication media and Indigenous literature. Analysis of this data indicates that paper media is on the decline, while electronic media including internet and video media is becoming increasingly important to the Indigenous community.
