Research Abstract	強い揺らぎのあるプラズマ乱流の統計力学を創始して、統計理論を構築する事を日指している。特に本研究では、乱流遷移の確率統計理論に重点を置いている。プラズマで分岐現象がある場合には、新しい未知の物理を開拓できる重要な方法論となる。従来、"繰り込み理論"の手法を用いて、非線形効果を取り込み遠非平衡・散逸系における自己維持型の"プラズマ電磁乱流"の理論モデルを提唱してきた。すなわち、1、繰り込み理論によって乱流粘性をとりいれた「決定論的」な定式化、次に2、乱雑項を取り入れ、確率方程式を定式化、そして3、乱流状態の確率分布関数を求める。4、状態の間の遷移を解析するため遷移確率を求め、5、統計平均と決定論的予測との差異を研究する。本年度は、プラズマの自己構造形成(乱流構造)の理論構築、構造分岐とダイナミックスの各論研究(カタストロフィ、Hモード遷移などを含む)にも研究を進めた。特に、L-H遷移や新古典テアリング・モード等亜臨界励起に際しての確率密度分布を解析、確率分布関数に基づく相境界を求めた。実験データ・ベースは統計平均による相境界であることを示した。各々について論文にまとめ発表した。ダイナモの問題を例に取ると、この研究ではとくに磁場とプラズマの流れ構造が同時に形作られる事、構造形成が乱流抑制を伴っていること、という普遍化を重視して研究を進めレヴュー論文をまとめた。[A.Yoshizawa, S-I.Itoh, K.Itoh, N.Yokoi.: "Dynamo and MHD theory of turbulence suppression" Plasma Phys.Contr.Fusion46(2004)印刷中]磁場閉じ込めプラズマから惑星の中性流体まで総合的にとらえる研究を進めている。統計力学による基盤の重視という側面からは、統計力学の「森理論」によるプラズマ乱流理論の基礎づけの研究を進めた。
