Research Abstract |
Reference investigation : The study attempts to collect the date colonial legacy of Japanese rule in the Sakhalin, Russia. The arrangement about Korean labor mobilization data were gone on from the document of Japanese Special Higher Police of the Sakhalin Public Record office in the Japanese colonial. Field survey : Interviewing by the field survey Sakhalin, China and a northeast area, South Korea, Japan was conducted about the movement and situation of fixing Korean labors in the coalmines of especially in Sakhalin, the ruins of prison. And also the interviewing on the returnee at home was begun from Sakhalin to Kohyang Village, Korea and to Wakkanai and Yubari, Hokkaido and so on. Other field survey places, Tsikuho(筑豊), Nagasaki(長崎) yuubari(夕張) and Ube(宇部) district was perform. The Study Activities of member are as follow : Joint-research meeting Kyungsoo Chun (Professor of a soul university), Koichi Inoue (Professor Hokkaido University) and Rhi Seunghwan (Professor Keimyung University) were invited to the meeting as research presentation and the guest speaker. The result was published in Korea as a book The land of Sakhalin : Exile and abandoned refugees. by Choe, Kilsung.
