Research Abstract	本研究プロジェクトでは、昨年度に引き続き、アジア太平洋の国際政治経済学と人権との関係に関する情報・研究成果を収集・分析・解釈し、これを交流や出版活動を通して広めることを目的として活動を行ってきた。未整合の形でしか存在しない情報・データおよび研究成果を整理・統合し、日本、アジア太平洋地域、および世界全体の学界に容易に利用可能な、整合されたデータベースを作成しつつある。本研究プロジェクトの成果の一つとして、従来の、アジア太平洋の国際政治経済学と人権との関係に関する情報・研究成果には、欠陥があることを確認したことが挙げられる。管見の限り、従来の文献では、国際政治経済学の視点に立って、アジア太平洋と人権という課題に分析のメスを入れる著作は皆無である。この欠陥を匡すためにも、アシュゲート出版と出版契約を提携し、近刊のAsia Pacific and Human Rights : A Global Political Economy Perspectiveを執筆しつつある。本書は今年中に出る予定である。データベース作成にも精魂を傾けてきた。また、複数の学会などにて発表を行い、意見交換も積極的に行ってきた。我々の従来の計画では、研究成果を、学会や雑誌でまず発表し、最終的に一冊の本としてまとめる予定てあったが、この計画は、下記の「研究成果」からも伺えるように、上手く進んでいる。 2004年度の研究では、データベース作成を続けながら、その内容を更に磨いていく予定である。同時に、様々な形で日本内外の研究者との交流を続けて、研究成果を様々な場にて発表していく。そして何といっても本研究プロジェクトの成果として、著書を完成させ、出版する。
