| Research Abstract |
「コンピュータを活用した作用素不等式とスペクトルの研究」の研究課題遂行のため、6月,韓国で開催された研究集会「KOTAC 2004 Operator Theory and Its Applications」には古田孝之および荒木不二洋が参加し,それぞれ「Convergences of logarithmic trace inequalities via generalized Lie-Trotter formulae」および「Application of some C^* conditional expectations to statistical mechanics」の題名で講演を行った。7月にはポルトガルで開催された2つの国際研究集会「11th Conference of the International Linear algebra Society」および「7th Workshop on Numerical Ranges and Numerical Radii」に古田孝之が参加し,いずれにおいても講演を行った。また,ドイツ・ザールブリュッケン大学のE.Albrecht教授には11月30日に来日いただき,12月7日帰国の間,共同研究を進めた。幸いにしてE.Albrecht教授とは共著の論文「Toeplitz operators on weighted Bergman spaces of harmonic functions」を作成することができた。12月に開催された京都大学数理解析研究所での研究集会「作用素論における作用素不等式の役割」においては古田孝之が「Convergence of logarithmic trace inequalities」の題名で,山崎丈明が「On numerical range and norm of the generalized Aluthge transform」の題名で,さらに長宗雄・古谷正は「Principal function of operators」の題名でそれぞれ研究発表を行った。さらに長宗雄・山崎丈明はclass Aの作用素からhyponormal作用素へのスペクトルを不変とする写像を発見して「An operator transform from class A to the class of hyponormal operators and its application」の題名で論文を作成しIntegr.Equat.Oper.Th.から発表されることになった。
