Research Abstract |
Artificially designed pore-forming small globular protein (SGP) has membrane-disrupting properties and anti-tumor activity We applied this protein to malignant brain tumor. The study shows that not only diminishing tumor volume but also tumor curing without recurrence. We compared SGP with CDDP (Cisplatin) which is therapeutically used for malignant brain tumor. But CDDP couldn't extinguish tumor lesion.
