| Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the educational methods for systematized observation in terms of collecting vision information and assessment in the nursing care. The education was composed of systematic observation which based on original education program.
The subjects were nursing students who experienced the clinical practice and nurses with 3 years of nursing experience. There were intervention group and non-intervention group in education.
Nursing students observed a screen displayed a scene of nursing, and were checked the eye movement as collecting vision information by using ETMS (TAKEI INSTRUMENTS CO.LTD) all the while. Nurses were evaluated their collecting vision information with nursing care by use of a simulated patient.
The students and nurses who were reeducated systematized observation tended to be more clear and accurate than others.
Reeducation of systematized observation improved observation ability and quality of nursing care.
