Research Abstract |
The author investigated the etiology and treatment of many kinds of deviant behaviors (conduct disorders) in pervasive developmental disorders (PDD). The author's viewpoint or clinical research is the approach on relational development. It depends on not the individuality of patient itself, but the relationship between the patient and their environment. From such a viewpoint, the author reconsidered the conduct disorders on PDD. And the author takes up the issue of "loss of self-evidence" noted through the treatment process of 2 cases (female, adulthood autism, adolescent Asperger's syndrome) the author has experienced. The psychopathology of the "loss of self-evidence" seen in the pervasive developmental disorders is discussed through these cases in terms of development from the standpoint of clinical intervention for relationship disturbance. PDDs have the mental state of the problems such as "loss of self-evidence".
