Research Abstract |
This research project is to propose new research field to be urgently established. To emphasize the importance of "the lypophilic signal molecules on brain function", we organized two symposia and supported three others listed below that are related to this particular research field. 1. International Symposium "Present Status of Steroid Receptors in the Brain" held as as satellite symposium of the 25th Japan Neuroscience Meeting. July 10, 2003, Yokohama. Number of speakers: 8(Organized by this Project) 2. "Lypophilic mediators and Receptor Studies", one of the Symposia in the 75th Japan Society of Biochemistry. October 15, 2002, Kyoto, Speakers: 15. (Organized by Kato, S and Shimizu T) 3. "Neurosteroids Regulate while Endocrine Disruptors Modify the Memory and Learning" Symposium in the 75th Japan Society of Biochemistry, October 15, 2002, Kyoto. Speakers: 7. (Organized by Kawato, S. and Tsutsui, K) 4. "Expression of Sex Difference, views from Brain and Behavior, Environment, Human Society and Culture" March 8, 2003, Kyoto, Speakers: 9 (Organized by this Project) 5. "Symposium on Environment and Physiology" a satellite symposium of the 80th Japan Physiology Society, March 23, 2003, Fukuoka. Speakers: 12.(Organized by Sakuma Y)
