Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
We have generally met the goals originally stipulated in our research plan. We have submitted 6 articles and chapters currently under review, however due to a slow peer review process, only 1 has been published so far. Recent reviewers reports indicate we are due to increase our publication output in 2016 Dr Coates was hospitalised in August 2015, which necessitated him presenting at conferences via skype rather than in person

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
Heisei 28: In line with our initial research plan, the final 5 months of this JSPS project will mostly focus on publishing and disseminating research findings. 1) We are currently working on both a book manuscript, a series of articles and the film material collected from the research project 2) Dr Coates will be presenting our findings at the AAS-in-Asia conference in Kyoto, the Asian Studies Association of Australia in Canberra, the ASCJ in Tokyo, and the EASA 2016 conference in Milan.
