Research Abstract	平成15年度までの計画、1)新訂WHO分類に基づく悪性リンパ腫の地理病理学的検討、および2)悪性リンパ腫の臨床病理学的検討について、Hans Konrad Muller-Hermelink教授(University of Wuerzburg, Germany)、Chul Woo Kim教授(Seoul University, Korea)と緊密に協議し、相互の診断の検証を行なった。その過程で、診断の再現性などWHO分類に大きな問題点が認識された。新たなT/NK細胞リンパ腫新分類が必要との共通の認識を得るに至り、現在、鋭意研究を遂行中である。本研究の目的は日本・韓国・ドイツ国におけるT/NK細胞リンパ腫1,000例以上の臨床病理学的、免疫学的情報を網羅し、バイオインフォマテクスBio-informaticsを用いたcase clustering解析を通じて、より普遍的な分類を画定することにある。解析に際しては、T細胞functional subsets (naive, central memory and effector memory cells)の概念を取り入れ、T/NK細胞リンパ腫分類の新たなパラダイムの提案を目指す予定である。研究協力者としてドイツ国2名、韓国7名、日本3名(研究代表者を含む)の病理学者の参加の合意が得られた。平成15年度内の当面の目標として、これら施設において日本(300例)、韓国(100例)、およびドイツ国(100例)の症例登録を施行しつつある。T/NK細胞腫瘍の病理学的および免疫組織学的性状の評価、さらに予後を含む臨床データを鋭意集積中である。相互の診断の検証につては、年度内に日独で1回、日韓で2回の会合をもつことが出来た。今後のcase clustering解析に際しての問題点の抽出と今後の方向性の確認、必要に応じてのデータ項目の微調整を計るために、平成16年内に基盤データの形成を目指す予定である。
