Research Abstract	本年は研究の初年度であり、特に地雷(金属およびプラスチック)を検出するための基礎データの取得を行った。また複素ニューラルネットワークのダイナミクス(アルゴリズム)の改良に成功した。複素自己組織化マップ(C-SOM)を基本とし、ミリ波のキャリア周波数もスキャンして位相-振幅処理を行った。これは、現有システム(信号処理部分ソフトウエア)をカスタマイズすることにより実現した。特に計測対象が低反射率であることと、誘電率境界による共振の位相特性などに着目した学習方式・適応方式とすることがポイントであったが、共振特性を最適に利用するためには、未だ改善の余地があると考えられる。また、データの空間分解能が低いことも改善されなければならない。これにはアンテナの小型化などが必要であると考えられる。また、実際の地雷探知に関する到達目標のうち、探査深度を30cm程度までと期待しているが、現状の30〜40GHzのミリ波帯では吸収が大きすぎる可能性が高いことが明らかになってきた。もう少し低い帯域で、なるべく広い掃引周波数を実現してゆく必要がある。また、その土地に特にばら撒かれている地雷(形状・材質)によって得られるパターンを学習し適応的に認識・分類(判断)する機能を持たせることが望ましい。今年度はこの認識に関しては、未だ取得データを分析している段階であり、特徴ベクトルを構築してゆく必要がある。
