汎用音声符号系を用いた音声の統一的符号化と音声処理応用システムの研究

Research Abstract

言語系に依存しない汎用音声符号系として、XSAMPA記号(国際音声記号IPAに準拠したASCIIコード)をベースにしたサブ音声セグメント(SPS)符号系を提唱した。今年度は日本語音声についてXSAMP)AからSPSへの変換規則およびSPS音響モデルの推定法を確立した。これによって、実音声サンプルとそのXSAMPA転記テキストからSPS音響モデルを推定計算することが可能となった。また、ネイティブおよび日本語母語話者の英語音声データを整備し、英語音声のSPS音響モデルについて精度向上を目指して実験中である。
上記の符号系SPSを基本記述単位とし、語彙・文法に依存しない音声検索システムのアーキテクチャの開発を行い、その有効性について実験的検討を行なった。その結果、従来システムで採用されている音声符号系である音素に比べ、SPSを採用した場合、同一実験条件において、たとえば適合率を80%とした時、再現率が25%から70%へと向上するなどの性能向上を実現した。
音声認識や検索システムの高度化に必要な音響特徴抽出および音声セグメントモデル構築のための要素技術として,普遍的制約に基づく日本語音韻の特徴抽出法の提案を行い,音声認識への有効性を確認した。また,多言語を対象とした言語識別技術に関して,音韻的特徴および韻律的特徴の有効性を検討している。
汎用音声符号系に基づく音声検索および音声要約システムの要素技術として、検索キーフレーズ音声と検索対象音声の任意部分区間のマッチング手法の研究を進めている。今年度は、従来の手法を改良し、新しい効率的なアルゴリズムの開発を行い、口語的音声データへの適用を通して、その動作速度の向上、検索性能の確認を行った。
