Research Abstract |
The mobile phone is the most popular communication terminal among students, teachers and parents. This technology has now become a necessary appliance on and off campus for communication purposes. The authors proposed and developed "Ubiquitous Support System" for Teachers and Parents to Enrich Academic Skills of Students. This system was designed as a collaboration tool for the better communication and benefits of students, teachers and parents. The system was implemented in two elementary schools for testing effectiveness and usefulness. Participated students, teachers and parents positively responded that Internet and mobile phone had made daily class evaluation simple, easy and handy. Overall assessment of the system and its implications were discussed.
